We all have those dark days.
Those days where you wake up and ponder existence and resist plunging into crisis.
Or, for some of us, resist plunging into crisis yet again.
I've come to accept these days as a part of life.
Dips in a steady frequency that, miraculously, keeps on going.
Just like my heartbeat.
I've learned from days like these
that perseverance can and does lead to amazing things.
Or to simply ridiculous things that make me laugh over and over.
Like these crows:
Please enjoy these free-falling, happy-go-lucky, honest-as-hell, glossy little maniacs.
I feel better already.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge, held daily in the Black and White Community.
Give it a try. Or at least pass this on to someone who might need a little crow therapy.

Thank you so much!!! It was really fun taking these shots.
This is such a stunning portrait @corvidae. I think you are very calm and patient to get this nice photo.
Thank you! Yes, it did take a lot of patience, not to mention the amount of time I have already spent learning to recognize their body language. It also took a lot of food, but I don't mind that at all, and neither do the crows.
