Bits Of The City

Raise your hand if you've been to a dairy bar. Usually not more than a walk-up window where you can get a chili dog and an ice cream cone in the warmer months. I'm wondering if they're a regional thing, like espresso huts in the Pacific Northwest. There's still a few around town but Dairy Kastle here is probably the most well known in the city.

Hold onto your war panties y'all, we're going on a slice of life tour of Louisville. It's the only one they'd give me a permit for. Actually, calling a mess of street photography a tour may be a bit excessive.

Don't know if it's all the bourbon and cocaine or what, but this city gives cars nosebleeds. Lately they seem to have developed an inexplicable attraction to stationary objects and it's been taking its toll.

Took this photo back in March in part because it's next to a new ramen place I want to try. Never quite got around to it and then last week a car crashed into the tree in the photo at high speed, caught fire and set the building on fire too. Won't be having ramen from there anytime soon.

Couldn't overlook the best overlook in the city. You can see all the way to Indiana from there, along with a dude practicing to be Rocky.

We sure like our signs here. 'No Stopping' 'No Parking' 'We Buy Houses' Sometimes you just have to stop and rest, 'No Stopping' be damned.

Have to restrict this to seven bits of the city or else it would be bytes of the city. In that case, what better to close with than one of the icons of the city, the University of Louisville can opener? It's steady snacking provides a nice testament to the power of positive thinking, and also a nice laugh to the rest of us.

So what if the person has an emergency call and decides to stop and pick the call?
No stopping still?😅

Then everybody is in trouble :D

More accidents happen due to the use of mobiles, car drivers are also using mobiles.

For sure. I'm actually working on a project focusing on people and their use of mobiles, although I haven't gotten any shots yet of people in the car on the phone.

El carro chocado , fue una gran fotografía, excelente contenido amigo mio.
