This is my entry for the Monomad Challenge, curated by @monochromes
Today, I want to share a series of four photographs from my recent trip to northern Peru specifically, Lobitos Beach in Talara, Piura. This place is well-known for its perfect waves for surfing, but it also holds a deep sense of history, with abandoned military structures and a nostalgic atmosphere shaped by the sea, the pier, and the local architecture.
This time, I chose to present these scenes in black and white to emphasize the texture, geometry, and dramatic atmosphere that so strongly define this part of the Peruvian coast. Through these images, I wanted to capture not just what can be seen, but what can be felt a blend of silence, salty wind, and the roar of the Pacific Ocean.

You're not the sharpest tool in the box, are you?
Hello. I’m surprised and a bit disappointed by your comment.
I always try to follow the Monomad Challenge rules and share my own original photography in black and white.
I see...
And that's why you edited and changed this post 2 days after you published it, and reposted it here again?
Thank you for the clarification. I understand now.
I edited and reused a previous post, thinking it would be accepted as a new one for the challenge.
I’m still learning how the Monomad Challenge works, and I truly appreciate your feedback.
It won’t happen again I’ll only submit completely new entries from now on.
It's not the first time you repost and I gave you a friendly nudge about it here more than 2 weeks ago.
It's not going to happen a third time.
Your account is muted and it will stay muted in our community.
Thank you for the clarification. I now understand the issue.
I didn’t mean to break the challenge rules I misunderstood the limits around editing and reposting.
It won’t happen again. I truly enjoy the Monomad Challenge and I’ll continue participating with new and original content, following the guidelines closely.
Thanks again for your feedback.
I’m confused by this situation.
The first time you messaged me, I explained that I had edited the post and replaced the photos, and you said it was okay.
I honestly thought the issue was resolved.
I never intended to break the rules I always share my original work.
If there’s a specific guideline I missed, I’d really appreciate having it explained clearly.
Thanks for your time.
I am sorry, but where exactly did I tell you that it was ok to repost content?
I love the photos you shared today, especially the one of the port with the fishing boats. It looks magnificent, and the black and white work is excellent. 👌
Muchas gracias mi amigo , es un honor que te guste mi trabajo, tus comentarios me motivan a seguir con esto que nos apasiona!!
