Rural life in Breb - Flora

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.

Today I want to show you some rural life in Breb, in Maramureș (Transilvania, Romania).

Here we are at Flora home, a kind and smily local woman, farmer and artisan.

She had many wrinkles on the face (she looked older than it is), and she walked with the aid of a wooden stick, because of a pain in her legs.

She was also a little shy, but no problem to show us her house and garden.

Here she checked a mais cob! The cob is ready to be taken!

Checking the health of plants...

She seems to be an only thing with her place, totally connected with the plants. Her eyes, despite of physical ailments, showed to us the joy to live a simple but happy life. Maybe this happiness is also a consequence of this simplicity.

She was very expert in knitting works, and she showed us how she works the wool to make sweaters and other hand-made artifacts.

We needed to leave the house to go on with our trip...
She was very happy to have talked with us, and we too!
