This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.
Hello to all!
Today I will show you some shoots taken in Ziro, a small rural town in Arunachal Pradesh, east India.
This old woman is an apatani, a member of a local tribe known for pieces of wood in the nose (they can breathe good, don't worry, wood is only on a side od the nose!) to give them a bad aspect and to authenticate the membership to the tribe. Only old women use this practice, not younger, so these women are the last testimonies of this tradition, that will be lost forever.
This woman lives with her husband and a dog, she has a garden where she works. She has also some rice plants.
When we arrived, she was collecting some salad.
Older people live here follow ancient rhythms, and as I said many other times, they are more happy and smily than people in our chaotic world.
Also, there are four different religions and they live in peace. So when you listen 'religion war', you can understand that it is just a political pretext for governments to wage war.
Here the ladder to go up from garden to home:
And now she washes with care the fresh salad just collected.
She checked the rice and made order in her stuff.
She was curios for our visit, but she kept on her activities.
Here exact location of this place:

Great capture my friend. This photo will store a high value in the future, as for this photo of a last tribe member that still practices its culture. Its a bit sad to witness a loss in a culture, we can only help to record them for our future generation. Thank you for sharing this my friend. Keep up the good work and have a nice day.
Thank you for your words! Yes, many cultures are getting lost in these time of globalization, and with my pictures I would love to 'save' them (just a piece of them), for future generation.
Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.
