Along the road, people were seen crowding the roadside to welcome the traditional lion dance parade which took place during the Chinese New Year celebration.
Below I am sharing some photos that I captured in one corner of Jakarta in the Glodok area.
Photographing a cap go meh tradition
with various attractions such as tatung, lion dance and Chinese cultural arts that are a shame to miss.
From a distance you can see a group of people of Chinese descent carrying a palanquin together at the top and welcoming Cap Go Meh in an atmosphere of joy.
