I'm back with a black and white photo of me that you might like and this is my entry #monomad
Gayo people flocked to the horse racing arena in Blang Bebangka, Central Aceh to witness the final of the traditional horse race.
Traditional horse races become folk parties in the arena. Thousands of people come from various areas in the Gayo mountains just to watch horse racing as their entertainment and as an obligation during horse racing events to provide support for their favorite jockey.
From a distance I saw the extraordinary enthusiasm of the people during the implementation of traditional horse racing competitions. Horse owners were seen herding their horses onto the field accompanied by the applause of visitors at the edge of the racetrack fence, from adults to small children too.
Some people put up plastic and cloth awnings to protect them from the hot sun.
One thing that I love of Hive is that I can learn about other cultures trough photography. Thank you for sharing!
