It's never enough

It's never enough self-portrait series was created around April 2021.

It took me 3 meters of aluminum foil, a bunch of glitters, a glass bulb filled with water, and glitter of course + 5 long weeks to shake them off me and stop seeing them around.

How did the idea come about?

At the time, I was working as a model scout, holding interviews, training, and of course photography.

I listened and watched various human greed, thrust for money, scams, and so on - it's never enough.

So that is how inspiration came, to overreact with everything from shiny glitters spilled all over to the foils as an extra sci-fi effect.

I have spent the whole day in the studio, placing lighting, set design, equipment, and finally myself in front of the camera on a self-timer.

I worked with Godox MS300 Monolight, two sidelights, my beloved Nikon d7200, and ofc Nikkor 35mm prime lens.

I finished late at night, and then of course I couldn't resist retouching at least one photo in PS right away.

Also had to clean the whole space till midnight (eye-roll), it was worthy of, to be honest.

I have never run these photos through the LR BW preset so far, maybe I even like them more in monochrome than in color.

Thank you @monochromes, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge, and thank you all for your time and interest in what I do 🙌
