It’s minus twenty-five outside — definitely not the kind of weather that makes you eager for an evening walk. So instead, I pulled a few winter shots from my archive where I tried to capture snow in its many moods, and I’m happy to share them with you today.

Plain snow isn’t especially photogenic.

But the moment sunlight touches it, everything comes alive, transforming the forest into a dreamlike landscape, draping every branch, stump, and frozen blade of grass in soft white caps and turning each into a quiet, enchanted being.

I hope you enjoyed this little winter glimpse. Thank you for taking a look!
