Travel Gallery in Black and White

To be completely honest I had never been too much a Black and White person until I joined this community. I then started to go back to old pictures of mine during my travels and edited them in Black and White. I quickly realise how good these pictures look and wonder why I didn't go into this technique before!

I first started editing pictures of sunsets, one of my passions in photography. Seeing that not just me but many people liked them I decided to start with all kind of pictures. Here I share with you just a simple gallery of Black and White pictures I took while I was travelling. Hope you like them since I will be bringing many more in the near future.

Kawaguchiko is one of the several lakes surrounding Mt. Fuji. I was all the time walking around and wondering where I could get the best shot of the famous mountain. Trust me, I walked a lot. One of these times I was stopping to take a break I realised that behind me there was this little bridge. Wow, I thought, I was focusing on something without realising what I had surrounding me. I actually can tell you that I am happier with this picture than with the ones I took of Mt. Fuiji. The moral, beauty can be everywhere, so always try to keep your eyes wide open for small details.

There aren't many quiet places in the bustling city of Beijing, but this is this one, The Summer Palace. It is so big that you don't really hear anything from the outside while you walk around. You will need around 2/3 hours to make a full visit, but it is totally worth it. Basically you make a loop around a massive lake and apart from temples and boats you will have chances to take beautiful pictures like the one below.

In Sevilla there are many beautiful walks by the river. This is one of them. As a river that crosses the whole city you expect these type of walks along the city where most of them are quite empty. But it is always good to have people around to give you pictures like this.

Australia is famous for its beaches and it deserves an award for it. I haven't seen so many beautiful beaches together anywhere else in the world. Here though, i take out its colours but still looks as beautiful as normal.
