Monomad: Nocturno

Here are some macro shots I submitted for the current #monomad challenge.

There are lots of nocturnal animals, including bats, raccoons, owls, coyotes, several types of insects, and so on. These moths that I captured are nocturnal insects. They are closely related to butterflies, but butterflies are not nocturnal insects. It's hard for me to capture nocturnal animals during the day, but that's not the case with moths. They sleep soundly during the day on the leaves, amidst the noise of the wild. There may be many threats around them, but they don't seem to care about that; all they need is sleep!
