Monomad: My Little Neighbor Never Smiles

The mango tree in my yard is home to some small animals. Sometimes I find soldier flies, praying mantises, butterflies, jumping spiders, crab spiders, and even sparrows building nests there—this one I have never photographed because it is hard to capture with my phone camera.

I noticed a crab spider and kidnapped it one day; I didn't mean to hurt it or ask for ransom from its family. I just wanted to take pictures in a different place with a bit more light, which was fine. But still, no matter how hard I tried, there was no smile behind that face.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
