Fire wall - monomad - eng/esp

To approach a wall after noon is to cook yourself. And if it is a limestone rock wall like those that abound in the ancient fortifications of my city, even more so. This type of rock keeps cool very well in the unexposed part, but on the side that faces the sun it is very hot. Larita protested a little about the heat of the afternoon, she was sweating even more with the shirt she wore to this part of the photo shoot route, but when I told her, "stand against the fire wall", she looked at me and moved bravely towards to the hot rocks, like a criminal against the wall where she is going to be shot. Only this time the pain is the sun, the relief is the photographic result.

Acercarse a un muro después del mediodía es cocinarse uno mismo. Y si es una pared de roca caliza como las que abundan en las fortificaciones antiguas de mi ciudad, aún más. Ese tipo de roca guarda muy bien el fresco en la parte no expuesta, pero en la cara que está frente al sol es muy caliente. Larita protestó un poco por el calor de la tarde, transpiraba aún más con la camisa que llevó a esta parte del recorrido de la sesión fotográfica, pero cuando le dije, "ponte contra la pared de fuego", me miró y de todas formas avanzó hasta las rocas candentes, cual criminal contra el paredón donde va a ser fusilado. Sólo que esta vez el dolor es el sol, el alivio es resultado fotográfico.
