There are times - sometimes - when the universe conspires and puts everything that you need or want right into place, when all the gears fit together, and the puzzle pieces fall into shape. There, now how was that for a lot of cliches in one sentence?
I recently tested positive for Covid. Symptoms are mild - sore throat and very sleepy - and thankfully not as dark or dire as some have had, but it is still Covid and I would rather not spread it amongst my family, so I have quarantined. I'd likely do the same if I had the flu and fever. Regardless, this has given me some time to myself this weekend which I've used to catch up on some things like Hive, tv, and legos! And not only any Lego's, but a coffee-themed Lego Christmas gift that I finally get to complete! (Thank you @bliss11!) Woo! See? Lots of pieces fitting together: spare time, coffee, Christmas. It's like... well.. it's something like Christmas! In July. Except I'm ill.
But I digress. On to the build!
The build came in a box with 6 bags. Lego as a company does a really good job of separating all the small, tiny pieces into manageable bites, but there were still enough small tiny pieces that I put it together over the course of the weekend.
Every time I build a proper Lego set I am amazed with the level of detail that goes into these sets, and the level of detail that can be obtained with various blocks of lego. For instance, the flowers in vases and the jar full of donuts and bagels is pretty superb. Even the window drapes tied back in the background are pretty detailed, not to mention the steampunk coffee machine! Pretty fantastic.
The set came with seven minifigs. This is a Friends set (Central Perk), so there are one of each of the friends, each doing what they do. I'll admit, I have never seen even one episode of Friends, so I know it only from heresay, but I like the set. What I enjoy about sets like this is that they can be used with other sets. I'm already envisioning using this with some various Hallowe'en legos for a pretty fun Hallowe'en set!

What I Learned Today
Get well soon sweets....and yes you finally got to it lol. Love you to bits 😘
It recently lost its funding, is struggling to get back above the HBD stabilizer proposal, and is in dire need of help.
You can support it on Peakd, Ecency, or using HiveSigner.
On behalf of The HiveBuzz team, thank you!Dear @wwwiebe, sorry to jump in a bit off topic but may I ask you to support the HiveBuzz proposal?
The detail in that set is impressive - the amount of stuff they fit into these diorama style style is insane and familiar minifigs are always cool.
