Hey mate, thanks for thinking of the Lego Community and for a great post. In future though can you please post directly here rather than cross-posting? I don't mind people cross-posting other users posts here however would prefer that self-cross posting doesn't happen, the same as the @ocd community.
Feel free to post here then cross post it yourself into another Community though. Cheers @markangeltrueman.
Yeah sure, understood. This community crossposting stuff really needs to be sorted out. I mean, if I take some studio photos of my Lego, where do I post that initially, in a photography community, or in the Lego community? I want both to see it but both have different rules about crossposting in all likelihood. It's not obvious to me and I've been here a long time. For a new user, it's going to be totally confusing.
I'd rather just be able to re-steem my original post into other communities so that they can see it.
Hey man, I'm so glad you understand. (phew). It was such a cool post I hated writing that message but I set that rule and have to be fair to all.
I agree with you of course, completely. I mean, I write stuff in The Pew (guns) and in LEGO that could also go other places...It's all a bit ambiguous. I've actually changed what I write to accommodate (self-censoring!)
I think a reblog (resteem) is a better option, at least that way it will have a thumbnail image when it lands in the other community. I think the cross post reward-split also needs some work. But to be honest what I think ultimately means little.
I hope this doesn't dissuade you from posting in Lego again, although if it does I understand completely.
Nah, won't dissuade me from posting in Lego. I'll drop the original part 2 in here when I've finished the build and then will probably drop the photography side of things somewhere else once that's done. That way people can follow me wherever if they are interested (hopefully). I've got a lot of other batman stuff that I could post up here, as well as my kids stuff. She is up to 10k pieces and counting.
That's the way, two separate posts. Good plan. Oh yeah, post away mate, anything Lego. The more the better. 10,000? Nice! Most of mine is Technic, but I'm working on it.
Thank. I agree, it's a fantastic piece of engineering. I struggle to comprehend how the lego technicians actually design this kind of thing. Truly is something special.
Hoping to do some studio photoshoots of it as well when it's finished. That's if I can clean the bloody fingerprints off it.

This is awesome, would love to see more content like this on Hive!

That's a pretty awesome build. Gotta love Batman in all his lego'ed goodness. Does the Batman minifig look like Michael Keaton when the cowl isn't on?
Nah, unfortunately not. It's a standard batman face under there.
