A plant that is both food and medicine

Hello friends, Today I want to send you a plant that can be both a food and a medicine in my hometown.I don't know where you guys eat this plant or not? but in my place this plant is associated with our childhood.

This plant is called blumea lanceolaria. In Vietnam, we call it the Xương Sông tree.It is present in daily meals, in traditional dishes imbued with the national spirit. It is used as herbs and spices.Did you know that the leaves of this plant are very delicious when rolled up or eaten with fish salad.When I was a kid, my parents used to roll spring rolls to fry. It's my favorite dish. Very tasty and delicious to eat.

Besides, it is also a medicine to cure many diseases. I can list as cure sore throat, urticaria, flu, toothache.I remember once when I had a cold, my mother used this leaf to cure my flu. Although it is a folk medicine, its effects are amazing. It also cures osteoarthritis pain.In Vietnam we have many kinds of such trees. This looks cool. I bet this is also in the PH, most probably just don't recognize its other uses
