Boxing Day Evening in London

IMG_4796.jpeg

I wasn't doing anything much on Boxing day so took an impromptu trip down to central London to see what the vibes are like. I haven't spent much time in the centre this winter so it was interesting to see all the shimmering lights and decorations.

I started my tour at Covent Garden, where I dabbled in some cake from the 100% Gluten Free shop Copain, and walked through the iconic Christmas decorations. I then made my way down across the Thames and along the South Bank, through the Christmas Market, to the London Eye. I crossed the Thames north and walked past "Big Ben", Whitehall, Downing Street and eventually Trafalgar Square where there yet another Christmas Market, before making my jolly way back home.

Being a cold evening, and Boxing day, the crowd was minimal and the tour was very pleasant indeed. The journey home was also without event. A successful Boxing Day evening tour I think. Sometimes spontaneous decisions are the best.

Peace & Love,

The view of London at night is very beautiful and I also have a wish that I too will see a city like this once in my life.

It is beautiful. I hope you get to travel to see it one day my friend

Unbelievable! @bitterirony & I were no more than a block or two away from you!

Your post is gorgeous and we miss you already!

Oh no way! Thank you. Hope to bump into you guys in the new year sometime 🙏

It's a little bit more busier than I thought it would be for Boxing Day. Especially with the cake shop being open.

Hope you had a good Christmas

I think I just didn't know what to expect. Usually Covent Garden is completely jam-packed 24/7 😅
