A Perfect Café in Camden

Almost every part of London has great cafes. I was in Camden on Saturday, helping out with some school Christmas party set up at a local school, so I had my "morning break time" at a local cafe. I had an americano and some crumpets.

The cafe was packed full. It's a small cafe, relatively speaking, with four tables downstairs and more space upstairs, but the crowd is clearly mainly local people that patronise the place. Business is no doubt going well for the cafe, judging by how many people were hanging around outside waiting for a table. The atmosphere in there is so cool that most people want to sit in and have their coffee surrounded by the trendy decor and good music.

I seldom use a non-takeaway cup at cafes but when the cup is this good looking, I can't resist 😄. I'd love more space, but I think the small cozy size probably adds to the allure of the place. I don't even remember the name of the cafe, as I failed to look since I had to rush back to the school when my break was over. All I remember is that it's a 10/10 for coffee and vibe. If I'm in Camden again, I'll definitely stop by there again.

Peace & Love,

Adé

Hi ya 👋 sweet friend!! Oh, you know how I love a Cuppa ☕️ Hive Post!!!

Well, when next you revisit the cafe, you can post it as a tiny blog and add the link to this one☝️

That’d be fun and keep the convo going!

Hey!!
Actually that's such a good idea. 👍

Cafe culture in the UK seems to be booming even as town centres are in decline. People expect quality drinks and a nice atmosphere these days and seem willing to pay the price.

I agree. Mind you there is also a rise of cafes that are fronts for mafia activities

I hear similar things about all the barbers that are springing up, but I assume the police track this stuff. They are both businesses that don't have an online alternative :)
