Free Food at Bords Unli Rice Sizzling and Inihaw

They say the best way to the heart is thru the stomach, and this doesn't only work in love but also in bribery. Well it's not really bribery but it makes a good and easy way to convince people to do things and it worked for me! I don't have another choice anyway

One lovely day, our general manager went to our office to solve some problem regarding to corn buying in the feedmill plant. The feeds where I work for uses average of 50% corn in the feeds in almost all feed ration thau we needed to buy thousands of tons of corn per day to accomodate our need to make the feeds.

The corn was terribly low and the buying was slow, not only because the price was relatively low but the standards were strict also. Yet the general manager suggested we extend the corn buying up until 10 pm daily so that the suppliers will be able to unload their corn and reload right after and deliver again the next day.

As for me, I really don't like going home late but since I was assigned to be a QC reliever, I was obliged to do an alternate overtime with Paula every night nut Fomzy had to be there every jight yo supervise and to guide us. He also promised to send us home after work because there will be no PUV for us to ride home

We agreed since we don't have choice, and to make our hearts merry, the general manager took us to a restaurant for lunch and we are all happy. Fonz was assigned to buy us food and he chose sizzling sisig one each and grilled chicken for us to share.

We went to the restaurant past 12 noon, and it takes 15 minutes to get to the mall and boy! The driver was texting while driving and it makes me worried about our safety yet we arrived safely in one piece.

Christmas decors were already set in the mall and we planned on taking pictures after having our lunch and regretted it because we rushed back to work after.

Anyway, the food was delicious and I guess what made it even taste better is that I was excited on going to another place, a new environment and it was fro free! Lol!

With us are are some Chinese Nationals who worked wih something for the company I am working, the plant manager and the general manager, and there were 5 of us from the office.

It took a while to cook the food for us and so we took the opportunity to take selfies while waiting and having some fun to ease the boredom and forget the hunger we felt.

It was so much fun for me, and I enjoyed it so much and then shortly after, we returned to our boring routine at the office.

On the other hand, even if the food was good and the company was fun, I felt guilty for having the food when I know that my family was not able to have them. Im still working on my way to be able to buy those things I could not afford when I was younger and it seems to be a very rough uphill climb to go through.

I won't stop hoping and working hard until someday, I could bring my family, especially my mum to dine with me on a restaurant and I won't have to worry how much I would pay for the food or worry if the budget would still reach the next payday.
