Today I am cleaning up a collection of decorations that I started collecting since middle school student. They are always dusty so need regular cleaning. My main collection are small decorations and Myanmar traditional decorations. Most people collect values such as stamps and paintings. I’m collecting small decorations so I think it might be a little weird. However, people have a different favourite. Yes or No? Below is an explanation of each of the decorations I have collected.
The two elephants shown above received a gift from my grandfather. I got these as gift in 7th grade. My elephant is white and my younger brother elephant is green. Now these are very old. But I still like them. The elephants I show you are based on real elephants used in festival in Myanmar. At festivals in Myanmar, if use elephants, these real elephants have to dress like my elephant. My elephant decoration is mainly made of clothes and wood.
I bought the house above when I was 5th grade. I have had that house for about eight years. In my mind, it was new. This house is small and lovely. It looks like a real house. This house is made of wood and glue and is 100 percent made in Myanmar.
Another is a very cute little pumpkin. I bought this together when I bought the house above. This pumpkin is made of lacquer. Because it is made of 100 percent lacquer, the pumpkin is small but a little expensive. These beautiful lacquer were are most common in Bagan, Myanmar. There lacquer were is made and sold in various forms.
This hourglass shaped glass bottle is also one of my favourites. There are two dolphins in the bottle. Two dolphins are blue and pink. I bought it when I was in middle school. I love dolphins and I feel sorry for them. Greedy fisherman fished in the water use electric for watch more fish. As a result, many other rare and valuable fish, including dolphins, died. I think they should be valued.
All of the above are used as wall decorations. This is what my mother bought for me when I graduated from middle school. It is drawing on velvet clothe. The first picture depicts a god and a goddess believed by the Burmese people. The second picture is of a Shan girl in Myanmar. She wears a traditional Shan dress. The one she carries with her flower is called Paline in Myanmar. It’s the same as using a basket. They draw and sell not only the picture I have but also their landscapes and pagodas. This wall decorations are the most common see in Popa and Bagan from Myanmar.
This Paris Eiffel tower was given to me by my younger brother. I have had it for a long time. Although it is made of iron, it has not yet rust.
The wallets shown above were a gift to me. The red and green wallets are made of thread. There are also elephants on the wallets. That is so cute. The wallet shown in the last picture is a gift from my aunt. It is made of bamboo.
Below are my remaining small decorations.
I prefer the ship here. I like collecting things like this, what about you?

Very nice collection, and if you take care of them perhaps you can pass them on to your children one day. I used to collect antique items when I was very young, something a bit strange for such a young child.
I wish I had kept more toys and keepsakes from my childhood because I'd love to give them to my daughters, but I used to live in a trailer for many years, so I had to let many of these things go because of my small living space.
When you talk about these items, I can sense your joy and the positive memories they bring. Thanks for sharing.
I lost a lot of my belongings when moving a house. But I think I will recover a lot of that.
