Maybe things happen for a reason

I know back then I always wanted to become a vegan because as I complain often when I'm eating meat, I wish there were other options. When you live in the City you know how crazy the price of the vegetables than the price of meat; not unless you have your own source or easy access to the public market.

Last night, I arrived in Baguio; finally I'm here after a month of dreaming of living in this place. When I was on the way I already could see the beauty of the City, especially I saw beautiful houses on the mountain hills. The view reminds me of a place I have been to which is in the northern part of Vietnam.

When you look at the hills and the houses, it's stunning and it's colorful. Today, I went to SM City on the terrace, you can watch the sunset view while having a cup of tea or coffee. But my friend and I couldn't find a seat, there's so many people on Sunday when everyone is spending time with their loved ones in this particular place.

I just took the photos before the sunset because it's magnificent. Did you see the sunset lights behind the hills over the houses. I love this kind of view, even like every day I don't mind.

Despite what happened to me today. I will stay positive. I look, good things will happen even though bad things happen today. I lost my phone when I was on the way to the SM mall. Someone just opened my bag and got my phone. I was sad, but I couldn't do anything; I lost it. I have many things to share with you all here, but I think that's less possible when I lose all my files there. Sad to say that I have a bad impression of the place. Don't worry, I will be chilling in a few days; I will eventually forget it and forgive the thief.

After an hour of getting angry and being sad. I refused to ruin my first official day here in Baguio. So, I walk to the market and I see a lot of people in the streets walking and I was like, the crowd seems already back to normal now. I really, hope this is the end of the pandemic so everyone can enjoy life.

We went to the coffee shop along the streets. It was nice but very small space. However, the goods are great, yummy, and tasty.

We walk to the public market coz today is my first day of challenge on becoming a vegan. I ask my vegan friend to teach me how to shop as a vegan, what are the foods I need etc. She guides me all the way and I got a lot of supplies. I think this is good for a month. We shop in two places the public market and the supermarket. It was so nice to know what to pick. I'm excited; in fact I started to eat vegan noodles for dinner.

We drink strawberry wine with 12% alcohol just to feel warm. I've been really cold since last night. I'm wearing two layers of clothes and sacks and the weather was 16° I was really freezing. I'm sure I can survive living here for a month, which I already planned. I don't feel like waking up early and the afternoon is the most comfortable temperature here and I like it a lot, but when the late afternoon comes the cold has just begun.
