What's up ASEAN Buddies..
If I hadn't gone to FX Sudirman Mall, I probably wouldn't have known that it was the commemoration of the Day of No Violence Against Women which falls on November 25, 2024. At that time I happened to be window shopping, and accidentally passed this area. When I approached it, it turned out to be an event to commemorate the Day of No Violence Against Women. There was a big stage who was attracted me. In addition to the stage, there was a poetry exhibition from various Indonesian women.
The Day of No Violence against Women in Indonesia is commemorated for 16 days. I was impressed by this commemoration because they also held a literacy exhibition. I forgot when my last poetry in my life. The last poem I read was by Titis N on social media. I used to be interested in poetry, but as time went by, I became a lousy poet. I never wrote a poem again. Therefore, I really admire people who can write poetry. Although short, writing it is very difficult.
In this exhibition there are 10 poems, all written by women who may or may not have experienced violence directly. I read each poem and was amazed by each verse that was able to imply the sadness experienced by women who are victims of violence.

To be honest, I am a feminist and will always support women who have lost their basic rights to live in peace, speak freely, and victims of domestic and non-domestic violence. I hope this year I can participate in the next commemoration.
Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
16 days is a very short period of time to gauge improvements in societies in this important matter. Also the poorer the country, the more violence against women tends to occur
