Have you ever wondered what will be the best gift to give during this season?
This has been the struggle that I had when our team announced that we will have a mini Christmas party on the 11th of December.
The following are criteria:
- Minimum amount is 500.00 PHP / $10.00 or more
- No gift certificate/cash/ money
- Should not be bought in any convenience store.
If any of the criteria isn't followed the violator will be paying a fine which is equivalent to the most expensive gift given.
I searched the local online shops shopee and Lazada [https://www.lazada.com.ph/] for a suitable gift that can somehow be appreciated by anyone. We will only know who's the lucky person that will be accepting the gift on the same day so I cannot buy something that will not be used. Probably an item that I know that can be common with everyone was my cue.
My lead mentioned that a good gift can be equipment that can be used during work, like a backrest, a mousepad, or an ergonomic mouse.
They are nice gift ideas and if I will receive such gifts this will be much appreciated as I find them useful. But since it was stated by my lead that she's suggesting such gift for sure one or two may follow her advice thus I decided not to buy them.
So what is the other stuff that we enjoy before? Then I recall that the team loves to set our meetings in Starbucks and coffee has been part of our conversations back then when we are in the office. At times, when we are overloaded with work we always use the term "tara kape muna tayo" ( let's grab some coffee before we face this overwhelming work.)
And because of that, I decided to buy a coffee manual coffee grinder and a coffee pot.
I believe that this will be helpful to anyone from the team as they can enjoy brewing their own coffee. Since we are all working in our homes and the smell of freshly brewed coffee is something that the majority of call center agents love.
So yeah, I hit the 3 criteria and safe with the penalty as I exceed the minimum amount not including the shipping fee.
An ergonomic mouse would be great or a mouse pad with a wrist cushion. It's a very good investment especially when you work for hours on the computer. It can also help avoid Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Health is wealth 🤗🤗🤗 but a coffee grinder is nice to, it's always good to begin mornings with a freshly brewed cup of coffee ☕️
I had a hard time on choosing and yes ergonomic mouse with the cushion is also a nice gift idea. We work more than 9 hours a day especially this year-end as accounting needs to reconcile.
Yes it's very functional! 🤗 Hope you get to take a break in between work!

Did you buy the small coffee maker like in the bottom of this post on the right? These are Italian-style, and I never tried one until my former Italian partner brewed coffee using this method. It is a very good way to make coffee, especially small amounts.
Hey Justin, yes I did currently waiting for it to be delivered either today or tomorrow hopefully. I might be buying my own in the next few days once I got the feedback from my colleague that the item is good.
Uy, happy family. Dapat dinala mo ang natirang birthday cake. Sayang!
Expired na yun siguro, we tasted it earlier this morning medyo maasim na sya.
My teammates will not get covid but will be constipated, I think it's a win-win everyone will receive something from me.
Regalo para sa Tao
Basura para sa mga daga
Nyay, that would be a great gift!
I did plan to include coffee beans too pero mag over na ako sa budget. Hahah thanks for appreciating hopefully the person that will receive it will appreciate it.
She/he will appreciate that for sure! It's Christmas Naman. Kaya, Whatever it will be. Pasok Yan!hahaha. Merry Christmas haha
Super nice Christmas gift, I would love to have something like that. 😊❤️
