Farmer Mode: Organic Fertizers

I never would have thought I'd need cow dungs in my life.

But here I am sacking them to bring to my farm. Synthetic fertilizers are expensive so I am grabbing every opportunity to get organic fertilizer ls to nourish the soil in my farm.

I am a trying hard farmer in my fresh years of farming and finances is one of my struggles. I am glad to interact with my godmother who had been very generous to me and my family. She was my mother in law's old friend and she made her one of the witnesses during my marriage and attended the wedding ceremony nine years ago.

Her husband died two years ago and stopped the farm he built and decided to marry a foreigner and either live in Australia or find a new home far from he recent one.

They once had 20 cattle and a horses, pigs, geese, turkeys and chickens. No one could tend to them anymore so she sold them all. The horse was already sold but the new owner had troubles finding a vehicle to carry it with.

Wife and son were with me as we sacked the cow dung while the godmother talked about life and more. I am so amazed of what she had gone through in her life. But so sad she got scammed many times and is a prisoner of her online loans that had huge interest.

It took us a while to sack the dung. The sacks were small enough yo contain 25-30 kilos of organic fertilizer. The cow dung stayed on the soil for a while now and it had literally become soil which was a good thing.

While scaking the dung, we heard a loud chirp and it got us all curious

We searched and found baby birds on a nest inside a bamboo used for the cattle house. Two little birds were on the nest and perhaps the parents were still out looking for food, afraid to come because of our presence.

I still have a lot dung to sack and I think I won't be back on her place until next week and hopefully I could bring them to my farm too. I am excited to see the birds too but I guess they would have left the nest by that time already.

I feel very blessed to see incredible things around me. Do you?
