Losing a parent is truly an unexplainable feeling of grief and emptiness. But this is really the reality of life; we just need to accept and move on in time. With the presence of other family members, you can slowly gain back your life balance and hopes for the future. Your father must be proud of his children for all the thoughtful deeds offered for him.
The pain of losing them will never truly fade but I hope your fond memoried of him and with him takes away that pain. Try to remember him as the person you all loved and share funny stories about him instead of despairing. I am so sorry to know that he has left you already, I can not imagine life without a strong and dependable person by your side.
