WEI CHI JING DE and QIN SHU BAO

THE GENERAL

While me and my friend were walking around the town yesterday, we came across this interesting statue on Orchad Road. I realise that there was actually at least one statue for each building at this road, and I feel that the statue was alive, protecting the building and giving a lucky charm to attract the customer. Yeah, this reminds me of the lucky cat that is usually put on the table while it is waving, and many believe it was to call the customer and have money come to the store.

But among all the statues, this one enticed me to get my phone and snap a photo of it. The first one was QIN SHU BAO.

and the second one was WEI CHI JING DE

It say that Qin Shu Bao and Wei Chi Jing De were generals during the Tang Dyanasty in 618 AD . They possessed with speical powers where they being called to prtect the Emporer Thing Tan Zong from the Dragon Fang who swoer vengence on the Emperor during conflict . In popuar Chinese belief , We Chi Jing and Qin Shu Bao are regarded as guardians of doorways. Those statue was old which has being build in 1975 and weight 3 tons each.

Very intereting right . Its make me thinking if that story was real or just another fantasy. I wish to personally experience and watch the power of the legandery story in the world.
