Mountain Travel Escapade In Kaluknayan, Lugait Misamis Oriental

There are lots of mountains can be found here in our Province and most of it are very high and majestic. Yesterday, we decided to take a travel to the mountain top located in Barangay Kaluknayan Lugait, Misamis Oriental. This Barangay is located in mountainous place and the primary source of income of all residents here are coconuts and banana plants. I was very excited about it, that was my first time to step on that place and surely, I can find many fascinating things and places there.

I packed my things to brought during our travel and I make sure that my important things will not be forgot to bring. Kaluknayan is the last Barangay of Lugait, Misamis Oriental. It is far from the Crowded place and it needs to travel a few hours before we went here. Our mountain hike was very fun and enjoyable, adding with the beautiful sceneries and place. Only few trees can be seen here but it was still cold even if it is already Noontime.

Using my Camera, I started to take pictures about the best sceneries in the place including the insects and plants. Since when I was in college I already love taking pictures in short A Photography hobbies. Everytime when there is a school programs, activities or occasions I am the who take pictures to have a documentary on all activities we did that time. Until now, photography is my specialty.

I was really amazed of this place as I seen this simple structure located at the mountain top of the place. This is the only kind of structure here and I wonder why it built in here. There is no Garden and no houses just this waiting shed stands in the place. Many great overview can be seen here because of the high place at Lugait mountain. Surely if we lived in this place, it would be really peaceful and calm because there are no noises.

Farther, we seen this another structure built at the mountain top also. It is made of concrete and it is very unique structures. I wonder why people built this kind of structure at the mountain top and I would like to found out.

As I asked some of the residents in Barangay Kaluknayan, they answered that the main reason why they built that kind of structures so that the mountaineers can have a resting place during their adventure. It is not really easy to climb high mountains and it really needs a rest for a minute and also, there will be a shelter if it rains during the travel. I really amazed of what I heard, they are very kind for their visitors. This is a good initiative so that people can rest and sheltered very well when there is rain.

We spend a night in there and as the evening came, we seen this wonderful and great overview in Lugait. Many lights shines below because of many houses and the Barangay in Kaluknayan can also seen through here. I put up my swing and a perfect place to rest while watching up to the sky. Lucky for us, the weather was good and very calm.

The Next Morning:

I was very amazed of this simple house built also in the mountain top. It was built under the trees and I am really say that their way of living is very simple, peacefully and calm. This is what I like to place to live, they also owned a motorcycle so that they can carry their goods and transport down from the Barangay. They also owned a simple Garden and some animals like Pigs, cows, and Carabao.

Every morning, it is already expected to see fogs. The mountains was already covered with fogs and we can't clear easily see below of the place. Adding with trees below, it keeps the view very fascinating and relaxing to the eyes. This is what really the view when we are at the Province, more fogs and calm places.

9 AM when we decided to rest and while resting, we watched the low land place. We can see the road up here and a smoke coming from distant mountains. I wonder whats in there. We successfully ended our travel escapade on this place and it is really perfect for travel and mountain adventure.
