UNBOXING: Restocking Tea + Hoarding Pens... XD

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY3 days ago

Hey friends! :)
I received what I ordered online today... well, it's nothing fancy, but I did get quite a lot.

Maybe some of you may know, I'm into drawing or sketching. I sometimes use art pens when outlining and other stuff, but art pens are expensive! haha

The art pens I currently have were gifts I received years ago and some of them are already all used up, while others are on the brink of saying goodbye forever. lol So, I looked for alternatives... some things I could use, not only for drawing but also for writing and/or calligraphy or lettering.

So, I decided on some gel pens... :) And there are a bunch of cheap, but good ones online!!!

Let's start unboxing!

Actually, both packages arrived at the same time, so I'm happy. One isn't really related to art... we just ran out of them at home, so I decided to restock. XD

This is the tea we usually have at home. I believe it's originally from Poland. It's not very strong and they're not as expensive as other teas. We've been having this tea for years now. Although I'm more of a coffee person, I also enjoy tea once in a while. My mom especially likes tea, though. She adds her own concoction of ginger and lemon to it. They're such a great combination. :)

Now, on to the main event... hahah

Yep... all of these are in the other package! And almost all of the contents are pens!

We sell school supplies in our store and since I planned on buying some pens for my personal use, I decided to also order some for our store as well. There are a lot of students living in our community and pens are an essential tool for them. I bought some for my parents to sell in the store. :)

The quality is actually good... my mom even got a couple of them for herself. haha She needs it when writing drafts for her posts. lol

I could have bought just one pack of each gel pen (black and colored), but they were on sale when I ordered them, so I grabbed the opportunity. I like using gel pens for writing because they're clear and nice to use. However, I have to be careful when using them on shiny paper. They tend to smudge when I don't let them dry properly.

And for some reason (impulsive buying... actually) I also bought this grid notebook. haha I thought it would be nice to write or sketch on it as well. XD

I tried them on the notebook which is quite shiny... and they didn't smudge! yay

I also did a quick sketch of Kageyama Tobio from Haikyuu! in one of my sketchbooks. Here's what it looked like.

I actually like it! They're cheap, but the quality is good... both for writing and drawing... and they worked well on different types of paper. :) I'll try to do more sketches and writings in the coming days, so please look forward to checking them!

This baby is full again! :) yaaaay

Next, I'll restock my acrylic markers, paints, and watercolor pads... :) They can wait, though... ^^

Thanks for reading and see you around! Have a good one! (^^,)v
