Greetings everyone from Cambodia! It has been more than a month since my two daughters and I arrived in our homeland. I really miss making posts every day, but I really miss everything in my country too.
So I wanted to make what I can’t do a long time. I visit beautiful places and the fresh market almost every day. I have so many pictures and I not yet post. Last week I visited Bayon temple with my Khmer family.
This is the gate to Angkor Thom, if we ride out of Angkor Tooc and go north, we enter through this gate. On either side of the entrance is a statue of a goddess pulling a serpent. We have a long story about that too.
Bayon temple or Angkor Thom has five entrances and each one has a different name. Among the five gates are the gate of victory, the door of the ghost, the door of the river, the gate of the earth, the door of the pot, the door of Takao. Each door has its own story and meaning.
I have seen tourists take beautiful photos, but I do not have good photography skills, I can only take normal pictures. My niece took this picture for me.
I am so proud that I was born Khmer, that our ancestors built many temples, leaving them as a treasure for future generations.
The temple very damaged because of nature and age, but the temple is still beautiful and amazing.
These are carvings on the walls of the temple, and there are many different images that they carve out of various things.

A place full of mystery, untold legends and ancient technology. Which amaze me a lot until today. Not all modern tech could do. I remember there's a part of it that has a lot red sand and red structure right ?
