A Blessed Sunday Surprise in Carigara, Leyte 🙏❤️

Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏

Last Sunday was one of those unexpected days that turned into something truly meaningful. My younger brother suddenly told me that we were going to Carigara. I honestly thought we were just going out for an ordinary Sunday ride, so I didn’t bother asking where exactly we were going. Little did I know that our trip would lead us to a very blessed experience. 🙏

When we arrived, I was surprised that we were actually heading to Holy Cross Church. I really had no idea we were going to attend Mass that morning, and even more surprising, we were just in time to see the Sto. Niño de Cebu because it was visiting different churches in Leyte including Holy Cross Church that day. ❤️

As we entered the church, I felt the familiar Cebu vibes that I used to feel whenever I attended Sinulog related Masses. Hearing Batobalani Sa Gugma again brought back a lot of memories. There were many devotees gathered there, eager to witness the pilgrimage of the Sto. Niño de Cebu. It was beautiful seeing how people’s faith brings them together, even in a place far from Cebu. ❤️🙏

And guess what? I wasn’t informed about going to church at all. So, imagine me attending Mass wearing a sexy dress! 🤭 I felt a bit shy, but at the same time, I just laughed at myself. What mattered more was the blessing of being there. 🙏

Seeing the Sto. Niño in Leyte reminded me that God always finds a way to make us feel His presence, no matter where we are. Even though I am far from Cebu, the Sto. Niño came here and I felt blessed and grateful to be part of that moment. ❤️

It was a simple yet unforgettable Sunday. No plans, no expectations just pure blessing. ❤️🙏
