SELF-EXPRESSION THROUGH MAKEUP ✨

I’m excited to share some of my selfies and walk you through the makeup process that helped me create these looks. Just a quick note !!!I don't consider myself that pretty, but I’ve found that with the right angles and a little makeup magic, you can totally transform your look. It’s all about experimenting and having fun with it. Trust me, once you find your angle, you'll be amazed at how good your photos can turn out!

Let’s dive into my makeup process! It all started when I was scrolling through social media and heard the song “One of the Girls x Good For You (Slowed),” which inspired me to do some makeup. The music really brought out my creative side! I had initially planned to curl my hair, but since I didn’t know how, my good friend who happens to be a hairstylist, helped me out. Lucky for me, it was free since we’re friends, and I’m so grateful for that!

After that, I gathered all the makeup I needed and got to work. I began by washing my face, and then I applied a light layer of foundation to avoid that ghostly look. Next, I contoured my face to enhance its shape and reduce the appearance of my chubby cheeks. I added blush in a straight line to achieve a fresh summer makeup vibe. I curled my eyelashes and applied mascara, then shaped my eyebrows before finishing with lipstick.

I chose not to use eyeshadow because it tends to get lost on camera, so I skipped that step. Once I completed the base makeup, I added a highlight on my nose to give it a nice glow. To make my look pop even more, I applied some silver glitter to my cheekbones and a bit on my neck. Just a heads-up, though: I don’t recommend using glitter on your face unless you’re really careful, as it can be tricky to remove later, and it might be risky!

Lastly, I took a few moments to play around with different angles while taking selfies. Finding the right angle makes such a difference in how the makeup looks on camera. It's all about experimenting until you find what works best for you! Remember, makeup is a fun way to express yourself, so don’t hesitate to try new things!

As I wrapped up the look and started snapping some selfies, I couldn’t help but notice how much fun I was having. It wasn’t just about looking good on camera, but more about expressing myself creatively and feeling confident in my own skin. Makeup has this amazing way of transforming how you feel. It’s like an instant mood-lifter! You don’t have to be a professional or even follow strict beauty rules; sometimes just playing around with different styles is all it takes to make you feel amazing.

For me, the process itself is almost like a form of self-care. It's that moment when I focus on myself, let my creative side flow, and forget about the pressures of perfection. Plus, seeing how a few simple steps can highlight your features and make you feel more empowered is such a rewarding experience.

So, whether you’re doing it for fun, to feel more confident, or just to experiment, don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Makeup is meant to be enjoyed. There’s no right or wrong way to do it!
