Secret Santa Christmas Gift Exchange in the office

A week ago, I went to Sunway Pyramid and bought a gift for the Secret Santa. Yesterday was the gift exchange session. The session was held in the office. Unfortunately, some of the staff was in quarantine due to Covid, and some were at the customer's site.

Out of 30 staff members, only 20 were able to participate in the gift exchange session. Nevertheless, the event was lively and enjoyable. Before the gift exchange session started, the staff was asked to participate in a mini-game. Where the price was cash ranging from MYR 10 to MYR 100.

There are two mini-games and I managed to get a total of MYR15 for both of the mini-games. Which can cover two days' worth of my scooter's petrol. There is even one of the staff that managed to win a total of MYR250 of cash.

After the mini-games had been completed, all the staff went to the Christmas tree area to start the gift exchange session.

Staff were briefed by the gamemaster about the game rules and how to play it. There are two mini-games such as ping-pong tic-tac-toe, and popping balloons.

Before the gift exchange session started, we took a group photo of all the staff that participated in the gift exchange session. Unfortunately, there was no tripod to hold the smartphone. So we improvised by stacking a few chairs and some diaries to hold the smartphone.

The gift was handed to the staff by one of the Secret Santa committees. True to the name, no one knew who is their Secret Santa. But I have a feeling that the Secret Santa would be the same person as my Secret Santa recipient.

We just waited until our name was called and the gift would be handed to us.

Out of everyone's gifts, I received the largest gift box. To be honest, I was eager to open my gift. But I hesitated and thought that it would not be proper to open the gift on the spot. However, the Secret Santa committee surprised us by telling us that all staff must open the gift on the spot.

I went to my table and unwrapped the gift. Yet another surprise, I received a raincoat. Why is it a surprise? 2 hours earlier, I almost bought a raincoat to replace my old raincoat at Shopee. But instead of making a payment for the raincoat, I left it inside the cart and was planning to pay for it the next day. It really was my lucky day
