Hello everyone, today I would like to share my daily story with my 81-year-old mother during the rainy season when the weather is very cold. This morning, like every other day, my first task was to bathe my mother. I started by putting her in a wheelchair for bathing, which is a routine that I have to do every morning and I have to be extra careful, especially during this cold weather. The shower was also cold, so I had to hurry and finish quickly to prevent my mother from shivering.
After taking a bath, I took my mother out of the wheelchair to her bed to dress her up and keep her warm. Taking care of her clothes is very important for the elderly because their bodies are more sensitive to temperature changes than young people. When I was finished dressing, I prepared a warm breakfast for my mother. Today's menu is minced pork congee with vegetables and eggs, or hot rice soup, finely blended, with a glass of warm milk to give her enough energy and help her feel warm from the inside out.
After eating, I let my mother rest. When it was time to go to bed, I helped her prepare a soft and warm blanket so that she could sleep comfortably all night long. Taking care of my mother during the rainy season may require special attention.
Providing consistent encouragement and love and treating them will help the elderly feel happier and have a better quality of life.
Next activity Today my wife brought the parrots out of the cage and brought them to sit on the branches in front of my house. My front yard looks very lively because there are ringneck parrots and cockatiels, a pair of different species. All 3 of them look very happy and joyful like children who are playing very passionately. The green parrot is jumping around on the silkworm like a ball that is bouncing back and forth. It makes sounds like it is singing. The 2 small cockatiels are sitting on the branches next to them. They stare at the parrots with sparkling eyes as if they are thinking of something. Hahaha. All 3 of them are playing around in the area. The parrots try to catch the cockatiels but are always caught by the Lopburi cockatiels. The parrots try to climb up the branches but fall down every time. However, all 3 of them must be having fun and playing happily. While the 3 birds are having fun, the Sulcata tortoise is not inferior. It walks slowly back and forth in a relaxed manner. We are observing the 3 birds while I sit and watch them.
Today is a special day for my daughter because she wants to eat fresh hot pizza from her favorite restaurant.
When she saw the pizza box in front of her, her eyes widened with joy. She quickly opened the box, put it on a plate, and took her favorite pizza and put it in her big mouth. I saw that my daughter really liked it and was very happy. Today, my daughter studied Pali and did the test questions correctly. So I gave her a reward. When she came back home, she read the Dharma book, Buddha's Words, Pali, and Thai.
While my family and I were eating pizza together, my daughter told me about the things that happened today in a fun way, making our family dinner full of laughter and warmth. Today, I have to say goodbye for now. See you again. Thank you for your support.
A busy day full of activities and loving people in your family.
