Hello dear friends, today I want to tell you how to make mango leather. This mango is near my house. They ripen in April, then there will be two months of mangos.
It bears fruit in the dry season only once a year. At this time I have chosen to make mango leather, and I show you in the pictures. Our trees bear a lot of fruit, and most Cambodians like to make this, and I want to show you too.
The benefits of mango are Vitamin C to help the body. At this time it begins to fall and ripen and and the water buffalo love to eat them. Now I want to show you how to do the following.
First, take the mangoes and wash them in clean water, then put them in a pot, then we cut them with a knife, put them in the same pot and remove the seeds and peel them.
After that, we have to start the fire and put the pot, we stir it until it thickens and boils well for 2 hours, let it cool a bit, then put the banana slices as you like, put it thick or thin and sun-dry it. It needs a lot of sun.
The mango leather is now dry. It tastes sweet and when we eat it, it is very sticky.
I've had dried mango before but this looks so much better. Thanks for sharing!
