My Brother's 52nd Birthday Celebration

Its been a long time since I did not create any post her in the community due to a busy situations. Last night we celebrated my Brother's 52nd Birthday and as for that, a simple banquet is also helded. Before I proceed to my main topic, I would like to share some of the delicious delicacies they prepared during their Mañanita activities. It is a kind of activity on which they sung a birthday song to the birthday celebrant early in the Morning. While they singing they also gave flowers, a sign of love and candles a sign of light in the right path.

I was very late for Mañanita because my Brother's house is very far from our Place. I started to prepare my things to be brought and after that I started to wait a Public vehicle. It takes minutes if waiting before I find a vehicle and I was very happy of it. From here to my brother's place, it needs to travel 45 minutes depends on how fast the vehicle runs.

Biko is one of my favorite delicacy and it contains latik on it. It is a kind of sticky rice mixed with latik. This is very perfect specially when there is a hot coffee. As I arrived at my Brother's place, they serve this delicious Biko for me. As I tasted, it was very delicious and I was having a good time eating this delicious Biko delicacies. While eating, they talked with each other. Honestly, My Brother is not fun taking him a picture even if I requested to but He didn't.

They also served this sliced bread and Suman made of rice and this is also my favorite. Every birthday activities specially in Mañanita, they really cooked Biko, Suman and Puto Cheese but this time they did not cook Puto cheese because there was no enough time. Biko and sliced bread are perfect combination so I decided to put Biko on the bread as spread and drink my Hot coffee. It takes a few hours of conversation between my Brother and a moment later, they started to get more buko Fruits for buko salad.

They started to looked for buko fruits at the back of their house and lucky they found more of it. With the help of my Nephews and some of their friends, they climbed up the coconut and get the fruits. There are 30 buko fruits the gathered aside of this in the picture. They hurriedly cut the fruits into half and removed the meat and put in a clean container. The worked was easily done because they worked with each other and after that, they mixed all the Ingredients and put in the refrigerator to cool.

Exactly 8 AM when I decided to went back home. My Brother's wife told me to come back together with my Family for a dinner and I gladly accept their invitation.

Evening, 7PM:

Evening, at exactly 7PM I went back to my Brother's place but sadly I am the only one who went back. My husband and kids don't want to come because they don't want to travel evening so I decided to go back all by myself. As I arrived there, the food preparations are already set up in the table. This delicious Lechon makes me hungry and they served delicious foods. I never thought that they serve a lot of foods on his birthday but as I asked my brother, He was also surprised. His wife surprised him with this lechon and my Brother's wife decided to cook this lechon in her place so that my brother will never know. This is really a surprise. Dinuguan, Bihon, Buko Salad and Cake are also set in the table together with this Hard and soft drinks.

Some of the salads are already out in a plastic cup to make it presentable and the cake's decorations are very unique. It was decorated with notes, and a musical band instruments pictures. My Brother loves rock music and also love to sing, that is why this is his birthday theme. After taking of pictures, we prayed for the foods and to the Birthday celebrant and after that, we sung him a birthday song before eating.

It was my most enjoyable events happens to my Life. Our Family is complete and successfully ended the simple birthday celebration.
