Bandung Light Festival, Cultural Parade in Bandung

Hi everybody. How are you? Before I start my story about Bandung, one of the cities in Indonesia, I want to say that Indonesia has entered the third wave of covid. Covid cases are increasing this time. May we all be healthy always. This scares me. I am very scared.

However, I want to tell you about a very interesting festival in Bandung. I am very impressed with this. I feel very lucky to see this festival. Because, since 2020 this festival is gone. Until now, the festival has not been held. I miss this festival.

There's a lot of fun on this agenda. Bandung's birthday is a very lively cultural event. there are many artists involved in this birthday. There are many art performances held. both traditional and international. in fact, there are many art performers organized by the government to facilitate the artists in the city of Bandung. In 2018, this agenda was held to celebrate the 208th Anniversary of Bandun. This agenda was very simple and of course it was already evening. The theme of the festival is "The Legend of 1001 Nights".

The festival that I really miss is the Light Festival Band. This festival is held in the framework of the anniversary of the city of Bandung. This agenda is held in collaboration between the Regional Government and the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism. This agenda is very lively. There are people and artists who follow this festival.

The local government displays their artistic creations with the theme of 1001 nights. There were many local artists involved and wearing Aladin and Yasmin costumes. There are vehicles decorated with various Middle Eastern and carnival ornaments. I was like watching the fairy tale 1001 nights that I saw in the movies.

This agenda is very lively. The Middle East theme is a very interesting theme at the festival. I can see characters in fairy tales, namely Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu Nawas to Cleopatra. Not to forget, music from the Middle East was present at the festival. There were many enthusiastic people watching this festival.

Agents are available starting at 07.00 PM. The festival route starts from downtown Bandung. Ends at Asia Afrika Street, Bandung. For art lovers, this birthday is a place for art exhibitions. In this series of anniversary events, there is an art exhibition themed Ikebana. Ikebana is the art of flower arrangement from Japan. In fact, a number of foreign artists were present in the art exhibitions created by the local government.

In addition to performances for artists, there is Bandung Halal Culinary. There are many foods and drinks from Bandung for sale. People can buy it while enjoying the 1001 night parade. In 2019, there is a new concept for this city's anniversary. The agenda was carried out to avoid traffic jams.

In every Bandung Light Festival agenda, there are a lot of traffic jams on a number of roads. I really miss this festival and this parade. In 2017, the theme of the "Under the Sea" parade, there were 81 participants who took part in the agenda. In 2018, there are many colors of lights that make 10001's night very lively. I miss this festival, I hope covid goes away soon. So that this festival can be continued again in Bandung, Indonesia.
