Cook and eat together, after school with mother and child

Today we mothers made a meal together after we came home from waiting for our children at school.
We want to cook at a friend's house. We paid the shopping money for all the ingredients together. The food we want to cook is liwet rice and side dishes such as tempeh, tofu, salted fish and fresh vegetables. Don't forget we also make chili sauce.

After school hours were over we immediately went home together and cooked together. Everyone works together so it can be finished quickly.

Events like this are often held, this is our way of connecting.
After all the cooking is finished, we immediately spread the banana leaves to use as a base for eating, then we divide them and arrange them evenly. Don't forget we also cook for the kids. Children eat with fried chicken as a side dish.

We all ate deliciously, even though the side dishes were simple, they were very delicious. Togetherness like this cannot be replaced by anything. The children felt happy too.

Very grateful because all the food we cooked earlier was gone, there was nothing left.
Hopefully next time we can eat together again.
