What is the first city that springs to mind when you think about living in a bustling yet peaceful location or spending the rest of your life with your loved ones? You might mention Quezon City, Cebu, or Manila. People who reside in the places I just listed lead active lives; these are examples of progressive cities in the Philippines. Philippines is an archipelago made up of several cities and towns, and while considering the cities it is made up of, Davao should not be overlooked as one of the best. Yes! You got that right. City of Davao! Yes, it is, and I'm not joking. The city of Davao is thought to be the most livable in the Philippines. Not everyone is aware of it, but Davao is undoubtedly the best place to live, from its socioeconomic standing to the modern buildings and structures it possesses to its residents' safety and security. Now, if I didn't provide a convincing justification for why I determined Davao to be the most livable location in the nation, nothing I say here would be of any use. The following are the factors:
Soci-economic status:

You can clearly see that Davao is significantly superior to other Philippine cities in terms of the city's buildings and architecture. They have transformed their old structures into new ones that are more advanced than before. Davao is rich in regional goods that have been sold to America and Europe as well as other parts of Asia. The variety of fruits and tasty treats in Davao City sets it apart from other parts of Mindanao. Businessmen are going to Davao because they understand that doing business here will be successful for their enterprise. When you stroll through the city's center, you will pass restaurants and shopping centers that are owned by both local and foreign investors. The city has made significant advancements over the years thanks to the combined efforts of the Davawenos and other races. Investors remained resilient and enthusiastic to continue their company here in Davao despite the dread brought on by the pandemic. To improve the socioeconomic standing of the city, certain business tycoons have teamed up with their other buddies.
Safety and Security:
Davao is a bustling city where you can witness people moving around from early in the morning until daybreak. The assumption that the safety of their city is their top priority cannot be disproved because people are present everywhere. Davao has indeed become safer since then and today. You may be certain that there are police officers patrolling the area around-the-clock, so you won't need to fear while strolling or jogging through the park. There are cameras installed around the streets so that everyone, including locals and tourists, is closely watched. You feel comfortable visiting busy places like parks and movie theaters since you are aware that even those places are secure. There are also travelers that enter and exit the city, and based on their impressions, they would nevertheless decide to go back to Davao if given the option. The initiative of our local authorities and police personnel, who have been striving to make Davao the safest location in the Philippines, has led to a decline in crime rates inside the city throughout the years.

You'll be in awe of how creative the Davao people are when you take in the stunning scenery within the city. However, it would be impossible for it to match the beauty of nature. The best-known feature of Davao is its scenic locales. It might be in the city's mountainous areas or on the stunning beaches in the south. There are so many fantastic and magnificent beaches in Davao City. These beaches have received attention outside of the Philippines as well. The beauty of Davao has also been discovered by many tourists. You will undoubtedly enjoy yourself when taking a sunbath. You can also try mountain climbing and trail hiking if you're an adventurous type of person; both activities are great fun. I promise you won't regret it, as more and more individuals are becoming dependent to this extreme yet enjoyable pastime. The parks and museums established by Davao's best artists can also be seen if you roam around the city. When you get there, you will notice so much pride. The arts that have been kept till today will help you fully comprehend Davao's past and experience its heart.

You frequently hear that a city's greatest resource is not its tangible goods but rather its inhabitants. And for the residents of Davao City, it is undoubtedly true. When you ask for directions there, the locals are so friendly and welcoming that they practically follow you to your destination. When you are unsure of where to go, they will meticulously assist you and point you in the appropriate path. Since they can speak English well, this is more helpful for visitors from other countries. Dabawenyos are so obedient that they always abide by the law, no matter how straightforward or complex it may be. They comply with whatever orders given to them by their mayor. Dabawenyos are also joyful people. The people have faced many challenges, but they have been able to overcome them. In 2019, there were a great deal of fatal incidents in the city. Numerous people were impacted by the earthquake, floods, fire, and other natural disasters that struck the city. But because of their incredible resiliency, they have been able to escape the chaos they have been subjected to. Together, the public and private sectors have been helping those who are most in need. The impacted areas have received and distributed relief supplies. Despite that horrible event, Dabawenyos are thankful and joyful people, thus you can still see a smiles on their faces.
Trueee, I heard from other people na sobrang ganda sa Davao 🥺🥰😍 Last time, sobrang lapit na sana namin, around 2 hours nalang sana Davao na pero di na kaya dahil nag byahe na ng 5 hours kaya uwi nalang agad.. Hopefully, makavisit Davao soon ❤

Very interesting read, I know Davao only from fellow Hivers and also some Filipino workmates here in Cambodia. Have you ever visited there before? If you have, it would be even cooler to see your photos from a trip instead of sourced images.
By the way, don't forget to have a look around ASEAN Hive since you're new to the community, you might find some interesting posts to engage with.
Actually, I am from Davao. I just use stock images for best photo quality. If I have time, I will be the one to capture beautiful places here in Davao.
