I think the quote 'the grass is always greener on the other side' is very relevant to your post. Village dwellers think city life is better, and vice versa. For young people tho, city life certainly offers more excitement and busyness so of course they want to live there. Old folk like me crave the quieter life away from that hustle and bustle.
