Gong xi fa cai has the meaning of hope of prosperity which translates to "may your wealth be abundant or increase". That means gong xi fa cai is not the meaning of happy new year. However, Gong Xi Fa Cai is also good to say during Chinese New Year celebrations, because it means a beautiful prayer. The correct speech is Xinnian kuaile which means happy new year.
Why do so many people in Indonesia say gong xi fa cai? because the average Chinese in Indonesia is a businessman or entrepreneur, where they pray for each other with relatives and relatives so that their business or business is smooth and successful. That's why Indonesians know Gong xi fa cai.
Chinese New Year celebrations are usually synonymous with the color red and its trademark knick-knacks.
do you know the magic monkey series? The Journey to the West series or in Indonesia known as the Magic Monkey series is a 1996 television series originating from Hong Kong. This series was very popular in its era. Even in the 2000s this series was still playing on one tv channel. I myself really like and follow this series.
I also like the costumes they use especially the goddess and princess costumes. I like the decorations on their heads. When I was little I wanted to wear Chinese costumes and decorations.
and here I got the opportunity to be a model in one of the Chinese costume exhibitions. I'm really happy because the costumes are unique and beautiful. especially head decoration. I thought it would be hard but it wasn't. I feel like I'm being a Chinese princess in the magic monkey series hehe...
I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be a Chinese costume model.

Chinese New Year is incomplete without a lion dance performance. not only the Chinese who watch the lion dance attraction but the natives Indonesia also watch it. Lion Dance is a traditional Chinese dance using a sarong that resembles a dragon.
