That is the most annoying thing if one is stranded. Our plane was once stranded I think in Bangkok, because something went wrong with the turbine, they had to wait for a spare part and we waited and waited . They did not let us disembark because the spare part might have arrived and it could have only delayed the flight more. Of course, they didn´t let us know beforehand what the trouble was not to cause panic. After about 6 hours, we started heading for Europe.
