A Little Hooked with Online Shopping Lately

The title of this post does not sound really like me. I am not that into online shopping because, in the first place, I don't have that much money to spare to spend shopping. But what started to be an impulsive decision in checking out a few items that cost me only 1 peso for the entire parcel, it led to succeeding check outs! LOL

I had the habit of adding items to my cart and ending them to be stuck for many months there before buying them or worst just removing the items and putting them back on the online shelves.

The I PESO Parcel!

Let me tell you about the 1 peso deal I got from Lazada (online shopping platform, for those who don't know). One of my daughters was bugging me to buy her stickers online so I started to search and scroll up and down in the App. To my surprise, there was a flash deal that said an item can be bought for only 0.33 cents each! I was delighted and tried my luck in adding the items to my cart. Imagine one box of stickers with 100 pcs on it only cost less than a peso!? And to add to my excitement, it was FREE Shipping! I added 3 boxes one for each of my daughters and checked out! The parcel only cost me 0.99 cents, less than 1 peso!

I was not expecting it to be delivered because I thought it was a scam! LOL But to my surprise I days later the courier guy came and handed me the parcel and paid him 1 Peso only! Can you believe it!? I was in awe when I got the items in my hand! LOL

Lately, when I look at the same items online, it cost from P30- 60 pesos per box. It made me think I should have ordered more last time when it was at that very low price. hehe

That online purchase was followed by other orders. I kind of thought I made great deals so I bought more items. 😀 I bought items not for personal consumption. My children were selling them to their classmates. LOL That 1 Peos Deal I got, we gained a lot from it because my daughters sold each sticker in the box for 1 peso each. 😅 Business-minded! I simply buy it in bulk and set it in retail.

Below are the items I purchased and were sold.

My daughters and I had a goal this year that we will earn income so that when the year ends we have the amount to spend on the things they want. I guess we are making great progress on this goal.

Aside from the items for our inventory, I also bought some for my use. Just like these items here. I felt I needed these to replace some broken items in the kitchen just like the pepper grinder.

I got them for a reasonable price. Honestly, it took me a while to check out, and finally purchased them. Good thing I was satisfied with the items.

For the time being, I still have a few items in my cart but I have no thoughts of proceeding on checking out! LOL
