Hi.. my friends, it is a wonderful Saturday again. I recently went to Brunei. This post highlights Seria, Brunei. Seria boasts lots of colorful shop lots that house many local businesses that have been operating here for a long long time reflecting the charm of a small oil town that is the nearest to Miri.

Brunei is one of the cleanest places that I've been to. You won't be seeing much rubbish around as well as homeless people.

SOI HENG COFFEE SHOP

This coffee shop serves delicious coffee, bread, and steamed buns. Currently, it is run by the second-generation owner. The signboards in Brunei have to have Jawi written at the topmost part.

Some of the steamed buns here. I love eating the steamed buns that are filled with red bean paste.

Universal Cafe

This is a place where you get delicious toast and coffee.

Top floors of Seria Plaza

The top parts of Seria Plaza here in Brunei. I guess one of the reasons why it is so empty is the low population. There are still some shops that are open here but only a handful from a gym, and saloon to a tuition centre. I can imagine what it feels like to be here at night. Then, the whole place is slightly green in color due to the ceiling I guess.

Jolibee

Jolibee is here in Brunei but in Miri, there isn't a Jolibee in sight. The food at Jolibee is delicious. Jollibee is a fast food chain that has been operating here in Brunei for a long long long time and has lots of shops here in Brunei.

Went to check out MR DIY in Brunei

A hardware shop that is from Malaysia. Why did I want to visit this shop. Just to compare the Brunei and Malaysian prices. The prices of goods in Brunei are relatively more expensive.

The cars here park properly. If this was in Miri, the cars would be parking everywhere.

Some of the shops in Seria Plaza have shut down for good. I guess one of the reasons is that Miri has goods that are much cheaper and only an hour's drive away. So lots of Bruneians spend a lot of time spending money in Miri.

I love buying blindboxes so I saw some blind boxes at one of the shops here.

So many cute blindboxes. But after price comparison, it got me thinking.
