Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today my wife and I have no plans to go out. After we sent our son and granddaughter off to school, we immediately go home. And it is another day that we simple and peaceful rural lifestyle at our home. And my wife wants to cook lunch for us today too. After she hadn't cooked at home for a long time. This time we walked to the longan plantation (600 meters) to see the vegetables we grow here. The morning atmosphere is clear and not overcast. It hasn't rained in our area for 2 days. And the weather is quite hot in the morning.

When we walked around and looked at the vegetables that we had grown in the longan plantation. My wife see vegetables and wanted to harvest them to cook. So she was just thinking about what to cook when she see the vegetables.
For the first dish, she harvested morning glory to make stir-fried morning glory with oyster sauce. It is a delicious and healthy vegetable dish. We really like this dish. There are many morning glory in various places in our longan plantation. So she harvested some morning glory to cook.

The second dish was boiled vegetables eaten with minced pork chili dip. There are many types of vegetables in the longan plantation that can be harvested to make boiled vegetables. But my wife harvests only 2 types of vegetables to make boiled vegetables : okra and new leaves emerge of balsam pear.

She also harvests bird's eye chillies and culantro to use as an ingredient in minced pork chili dip.

All the vegetables my wife picked from the longan plantation today.

When my wife harvested the vegetables she wanted, we walked to the home (600 meters) to harvest the spring onions I had planted in pots in the home garden.

Boiled vegetables for lunch besides okra and new leaves emerge of balsam pear, there are also boiled potatoes and pumpkin. Potatoes and pumpkin, we bought from the flea market yesterday. These are boiled vegetables for our health.

For minced pork chili dip eaten with boiled vegetables has the ingredients :

  1. bird's eye chillies
  2. culantro
  3. garlic
  4. shallots
  5. red chili pepper
  6. spring onion
  7. pork
  8. pork flavour seasoning powder
  9. fish sauce
  10. water

Chop the pork and boil the minced pork in a pot until cooked. And toast the bird's eye chillies, garlic, shallots and red chili pepper in the pan until cooked.

Crush the bird's eye chillies, garlic, shallots and red chili pepper using a pestle and mortar. Then crush minced pork with all ingredients using a pestle and mortar again. Add a little water and season with fish sauce and pork flavour seasoning powder. Done minced pork chili dip.

The morning glory that was harvested this morning. My wife uses it for easy cooking. Stir-fried morning glory with oyster sauce.

Finally my wife fried deep chicken meat roll for lunch.

All simple and delicious lunch for us today.
