Happy New Year Everyone! I know this has been a late greeting, but I would still like to greet everyone a happy happy new year! I hope everyone got a nice start of the year.
This post was kind of late because I was too caught up with some events and things that needed much of my attention early this year. Anyways, this is our last Friday family bonding, not because this is the last Friday of 2021 but because of the new changes that takes place. The government recently announced that the new weekend in government offices will shift to Saturday and Sunday. Sadly, my husband is working in a private company, and his day off remains still on Friday.
So much for that, despite on our new weekend that doesn't match. I would like to show you our family bonding this day. We went to the lake park near corniche road. There was a little lake with ducks. Many people are going here for morning walks, exercise, and some family bonding too. The weather was so nice this day. My son used his new bike that we bought for him last Christmas. He was so thrilled to try them. He went directly to the big playground so he could also go for a slide. We also let our little Caden practice his little steps here. After a few moments, our eldest son met son new friends and they played football/soccer. They were nice to let him joined them while Caden on the other hand was busy trying to walk (of course still with assist).
First, we had a quick and nice breakfast at the near mcdonalds. it was along the way so we ate before we walked to the park.
Abu dhabi City, This photo was shot just outside the WTC mall, this is the khalifa street. Other the Buildings in the background is along the airport road.
The Lake Park, there were all sorts of things to see, cats, family of ducks and play ground. it is a nice place to go for the kids to play and ride their scooters and bikes, especially in this nice weather.
The Play ground, lots of kids came in and Cassiel and Caden had the chance to stretch their legs and interact with other kids.
Cassiel and Caden enjoying the slides...
It was nice that we to bring them out that day. The Covid cases by that time were so low, and now fast forward two weeks cases now are increasing. So, I'm guessing that we will keep them again at ho for the meantime; just to be safe and while we also trying to figure out our different rest days.
Thank you everyone for reading my blog. I hope everyone had a great start of the year and I do hope that will all be safe and healthy this year.
Until next time. Thank you!

My sister and her family also lives in the UAE. The park you went looks really familiar. I think they also went there. Nice to see your kids enjoying the outside and just having fun. Sad to know they'll be stuck at home again because of this never-ending covid. Stay safe!
Hi! Is she living around Abu Dhabi? If yes most probably she is close by.
Yeah, the end of 2021 was good, it is really hard to go out now with the increasing numbers again. Let us try pur best to keep healthy.
Same thing here. A lot of people are getting sick and getting the virus. I hope that this virus will die out soon.
Yeah, she lives around Abu Dhabi. Heheheh
Just as I've imagined, a place with tons of tall buildings and clean streets. I'd love to visit the UAE in the future, I've also heard that they pay great to professional workers, something the people from the Philippines can only dream of.
