Seeking Tranquility @ Tawhay Mountain Resort

Happy Tuesday Hivers!

As I get older I prefer to spend my free time in a tranquil place with nature as it don't have dramas or won't give me headache. Nature helps me healed my heartaches and helps me become whole again. I was shattered and rejected and I often run to nature as I can say and do anything without judgment and harsh criticisms. If I would choose between a circle of fake people or nature I will surely choose the latter hmmmm maybe you too.

I often mentioned in my previous blogs how I love Valencia (located in Negros Oriental) as they have many stunning mountains, enchanting waterfalls and pristine rivers.

A week ago though it was raining, my friend and I still went to a mountain resort as we both wanted to spend the whole afternoon in a tranquil place. We chose Tawhay Mountain Resort since the road is not too difficult and not too steep compared to other mountain resorts in Valencia.

Moderate rain; cold breeze and wet clothes were among the things we'd encountered as we arrived.

Actually, we brought 2 raincoats with us but because we were too lazy to put it on so we suffered the consequence but anyways the cold weather was just tolerable.

My friend picked some herbal leaves to her garden before we left as she knew how I love to drink herbal tea especially in a cold weather. She picked some bay leaves and lavender.

While drinking my tea, my eyes were busy watching the wonderful scenery. This place is such a perfect place for someone who is fond of nature and tranquility.

Since there were no other guests in the restaurant we were not shy to do anything we want. It was not awkward as well to take many photos as we want.

We ordered a bowl of chicken sotanghon soup as we wanted to have something hot to help subside the cold temperature.

What I really appreciated that day was there's no loud noise. I only heard the sound of the running water from the river. It was absolutely quiet and no distractions.

While my friend was busy doing online stuff, I took that opportunity to just enjoy the sight of the lush forest or the nature in general.

Although I live one town away from Valencia but I can't find this kind of view in the place where I stay but still lucky though as I can visit the place during weekend because it is just one town away.

This is the reason why I keep coming back to Valencia because there are lots of beautiful scenery and tranquil place. If you seek tranquility well you could truly find it in Valencia.
