Hello Hives! It's been more than a week I have not shared a post on this blog. The reason is because I was involved in a jingle competition event sponsored by Banten Berakhlak--Erick Thohir's foundation-- and PeKa (Pekan Karya), so that my time and thoughts were mostly taken up in the event. Indonesian people definitely know Mr. Erick Thohir. He currently serves as minister of BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises). In addition, Mr. Erick Thohir is also known because he is a successful businessman. I will not discuss much about him, because my post this time will focus on the excitement of the jingle competition event.
In mid-November 2021, the Peka community was asked to become the event organizer (EO) for the Banten Berakhlak jingle contest with the theme "This Nation's Best Energy Is Solidarity, Cooperation and Mutual Cooperation". Because I am a member of the PeKa community, I was finally involved as a committee for this event.
This competition is open to the general public for all Indonesian people. Technically, participants are given a short time to register, from November 22, 2021 to November 27, 2021. After registering, the participants are given another time until December 8, 2021 to submit jingle works which will be contested in audio format plus teaser video to PeKa email. Unexpectedly, the enthusiasm of the participants was very high. In a short time, there were 30 participants who succeeded in sending jingle works to be contested. From 30 participants, first, second, and third place winners will be selected as the main winners. The first winner gets a cash prize of 10 million rupiah, the second winner 5 million rupiah and the third winner 3 million rupiah. In addition to the main winners, there were also winners in categories which were divided into 7 categories, namely, the Millennial Category, the Disturbed category, the Most Energetic category, the Ethnic category, the Hardest category, the sadness category and the Funniest category. The main winners and category winners were invited to attend the jingle competition appreciation day which took place at Kandank Jurank Doank, Alvita Complex Blok Q No. 14, Sawah Baru, Ciputat sub-district, South Tangerang, Banten 15413, on 19 December 2021, they will be asked to perform live bringing their respective works. Almost all of my energy was spent on that appreciation day. In fact, I didn't even sleep all night to help decorate the venue for the event, because apart from giving prizes to the winners of the competition, there was also a bazaar and performing arts.
The presence of Mr. Erick Thohir became an important moment at the event that day. The participants who attended did not waste the moment to take photos with people who have a big influence in Indonesia. Unfortunately, he could not follow the course of the event that day until the end due to his busy schedule.
The Banten Berakhlak jingle competition event--Erick Thohir's foundation--went smoothly until the end of the event. We, the committee can rest well.

Was this a jingle competition for a business this man owns? I am just curious what everyone was singing about, like cell phone service, petroleum, etc.
a kind of national anthem for the Banten Berakhlak foundation. This foundation is engaged in the social sector. improve infrastructure in areas where the government is not paying attention. for example, regional libraries, places of worship, sports facilities and many more related to social activities
