Wow! I have been a cook for years, but I've never been inside a fancy restaurant before, as I usually opt for little mom and pop places. I bet this was an unforgettable experience, moving and shaking with VIPs in a Michelin-starred restaurant, like the life of a celebrity. As a vegan I'm extra careful not to judge what another person eats, because I don't ever want to make someone feel uncomfortable. But now that you've mentioned it first, yes this particular industry is very cruel and extreme, and it's been banned in many countries.
