My family and I recently did our first dose, waiting 21 days for the second dose. We weren't thrilled, but being stranded abroad, and with all the new COVID-19 visa restrictions, not having our vaccinations is something that prevents us from leaving this place and settling elsewhere.

I noticed you respond to comments but haven't taken too much time to engage with other Hivers' content. A good formula for beginners is 10 upvotes and comments on 10 different posts per day, that is a good starting level of engagement. I know a bunch of people that are getting jabbed for the same reason you are. Well, not exactly the same, your situation is extremely unique. It's kind of shame that this is the reason why they are getting it. Not because they think they need it or believe in it, but because they won't be able to go anywhere if they don't do it.
Tough new reality to live it, certainly is humbling.
the people who decided to not get vaccinated here just as I predicted, went on a list. They are now subjected to near daily PCR tests and I would imagine they are on another list where their visas will not be renewed.
As a beginner, I am still exploring the platform. I am not that confident in interacting with some other hivers yet, but I do promise that a day will come where I'll engage with them every day. Thank you for your guidance, I really appreciate it.
