I don't know how I missed this post, thought I commented already, but anyhow, here I am, better late than never. This is nice to see, the restrictions have pretty much ended here in Cambodia too. I remember several posts in the past about the bureaucratic ridiculousness on display at the beaches, and if I remember there was time when they even assumed people could wear masks in the ocean?

Yeah, it was a crazy time at the beach here at least when masks were required everywhere. There is a very real increased danger of drowning while swimming with a mask on since you are basically waterboarding yourself. I think it started as a real rule, but then the lifeguards and other sentinels started to realize that this is a completely crazy rule to have. There are no rules that I am aware of anywhere in this city now and I don't even own a mask anymore.
